Fat Day

Writen by Molly Setnick

The other day I felt fat and flabby.  I was having a "fat" day.  My stomach felt bigger than normal, and I felt puffy.  My legs jiggled and seemed to spread to the corners of the earth when I sat down.  I must have eaten too much or exercised too little.  I must have been having a hormonal moment.  Discipline must have failed me.  I felt like my work wasn't working.  I must be losing my focus.  Oh no, I'll never get fit.  Why keep trying?

But wait!  I hadn't lost focus, except in my mind's eye.  My mind was playing a trick on me.  I couldn't see the strong me that I usually see looking back from the mirror.  My mind was showing me a flabby, ugly, fat woman.  What a dirty trick.  But haven't we all felt that way before?  Haven't we all felt the futility of our efforts and questioned the point of keeping on?

Here is what I have learned.  No matter how much we exercise and no matter how well we eat, every once in a while we will feel fat and flabby.  That magician in our minds – our emotions – waves a mean, magic wand, making us see things that aren't really there.  Our bodies don't have issues, our minds do.  The truth is that yesterday's exercises worked and tomorrow's will too.

Easy to say, hard to believe, right?  I struggle to keep my mind's eye focused.  I struggle to respect and acknowledge my emotions without letting them get in the way of my daily life.  I struggle to interpret them realistically and struggle to avoid seeing my emotions as a fat and flabby mind instead of as a fat and flabby body.  When my mind's eye gets blurry, I know it's time to step away from the mirror.  It is time to separate mind from body.  It is time to sort out the emotions that are manifesting themselves as rotten feelings about my body.  It is time to go to my journal.  I try to be honest and gutsy as I write down my thoughts and describe my feelings.  Wow!  I am always surprised when I'm able to come around to the realization that my feelings of "yuckiness" have nothing to do with my body.  Being honest with myself allows me to correctly classify my feelings as frustration, worry, or sadness, instead of disguising them as jiggles and rolls.  I'm able to admit that my physical efforts are good ones.  From journaling to jumping jacks, they are all good efforts.

The bottom line is that nobody is perfect all the time.  The goal is to continue to strive toward our own personal "perfection."  I always tell you to listen to your body, and I now want to encourage you to add a filter to that.  When you feel fat, flabby, or jiggly, use that filter to separate the emotionally charged feelings from your truly physical instincts.  Best wishes for good feelings of strength and beauty.

All About News

Writen by Michael Lastun

Today, everybody is in a hurry! The internet provides us with so much information that we can't even imagine. Let's not talk about how many different news sites offer us different categories for all tastes and how we are having trouble finding only the information of interest to us.

Google made the first step into sorting the information .Their news portal is up to date; it's clean and easy to use. They even offer rss and a custom display for each user.Personally I don't think is enough! At this point in time we have to deal with to much information and our brain is just not ready yet to resist and memorize all of it.

So we have to think at an alternative way to make the best out of it. The human factor should not be taken lightly. Thousands of people can make the difference. Imagine that all of them like a site and are willing to post only the important news on it. They contribute by voting and selecting the good from the bad. A sort of a blog , but this kind of site can have a heavy scripting in the back. I won't tell you names but I'm sure you will came across such a site one of this days and you will love it for sure.

A script is just a script. It will always have a small backdoor or a way to be exploited. The human factor has an important roll and can be decisive in the success of a news site.

The RSS viewers are a good solution to display your favorite news. There are a bunch of them offered for free and they can be used with ease. You can see the news on your desktop and they can be configured to show you the updates in real time. With all this in mind you have to think what's best for you and how to make sure your time is well spent.

If you find this information useful you should visit the site http://newsrus.org where you will find lots of interesting articles related to this topic, all original and wrote by Michael Lastun.

How To Create Trust Amp Confidence In Your Clients 4 Tips To Success

Writen by Anthony Jewell

Whether you are selling a $60,000 BMW on your site or a $6.00 hosting package the person buying either product will have to first build confidence in you and learn to trust your company. This is because no matter the amount of money, throwing it away is never an option, so we want to make sure we are getting what we paid for. This is where trust comes into play as what I feel in my gut is usually the only way I know if I can trust you right? Well yes, but you can make it a little easier on all of your clients.

Once a possible client comes to your website, whether they know it or not they are judging your company to see if it can be trusted. It doesn't matter if you are an computer store, online fruit stand or candy shop. We need to know that our money is being put in good hands and that we will get exactly what we are after. So you might ask "How can I create confidence in my customers?". While this can be complex at times and you are not going to win everyone over, there are some things that you can do. Here are some tips that will help you out.

1. The first tip is to offer an faq section on your website. This will allow users to address any concerns they might have and see what problems might be faced when using your product(or better yet what solutions you offer to help them).

2. The next tip is to offer testimonials so that potential customers can see that others have used your product and that it has worked for them. It also shows that people were happy with your service and instills belief in them.

3. Another tip is to offer online support and make sure someone is there for them. Whether it be support via online chat, forum or email, make sure someone is there to help them. This will make them feel that you care and that someone is truly there to help them out.

4. Now the next tip is maybe the most important. To all of your customers offer a money back guarantee. Whether it be 7 days, 14 days or 30 days, let them know that they won't be stuck with something they don't like. This may not be possible for every business such as a fruit stand but, if you can offer it you should. It will give them a free will to try you out.

Finally make sure they know that you are willing to go the extra mile for them. Show them even before they purchase anything from you that they are important. Talk to them and calm their fears so that they can begin to trust you. If you offer great help before they purchase from you then they will believe you will offer even greater help after they go with your company!

Top 4 Problems Of Lottery Strategy Programs

Writen by Joe Cooper

The chances of winning the multi-million dollar Jackpot are very, very slim. Many companies produce and advertise software, guides, and systems that claim to teach people how to predict which numbers will play. If you are laughing hysterically right now please understand that some people actually believe in these things. These advertisements boast that their systems can teach people how to consistently win the Daily 3, the Daily 4, and the Daily 5 numbers as well as the Jackpot. I've seen these kinds of guides or software priced anywhere from twenty dollars to hundred of dollars.

So what's the deal with these lottery strategy programs? Are they just hype or can you follow their directions and hit the lottery? Read on for the truth you must know about lottery strategy programs.

The first problem is recent numbers controversy: Many state lottery systems have been accused of rigging the numbers that play. If the numbers are rigged, how can a program that you bought out of a magazine teach you how to predict which numbers will play and which will not?

The second problem of lottery strategy programs is their unpredictability: Honestly, would you want to base your weekly income on pure chance? The lottery is just a game to be played for entertainment purposes. You'd be lucky to occasionally win $5, $10 every now and then. Also, be aware of gambling addiction. Sometimes we don't know we have an addiction to gambling until it is too late. Take it from me: I've had my fair share of gambling problems in the past. It is not pleasant – trust me. Play the lottery; don't let the lottery play you.

The third problem is winning the lottery is nearly impossible! Buying a lottery strategy system will not enhance your chances anymore than random number play. The Lotto Industry is a business that plays on primal human emotions and near impossible odds. As mentioned above, the chances of you ever winning a million dollars from the lottery are virtually zero. The chances of you getting struck by lightning three times, standing in the exact same spot each time are greater than you winning a million dollars with this thing.

The fourth problem is these programs are insulting to your intelligence: Not much more can be said about these programs. Do not waste your time, money, or mental energy buying one of these stupid things! They flat out do not work.

Conclusion

There have been thousands of people who have fallen victim of lottery strategy scams. People who simply want to earn an extra income from the comfort of their homes find themselves cheated by con artists who take advantage of their hopeful attitudes. There are legitimate companies out there offering real work at home opportunities for those interested. Unfortunately, home based business scams are at an all time high. It has become harder to find legitimate work from home operations. Don't waste your time investing in these silly scams.

Joe Cooper has researched and experimented with over 275 home based business opportunities over 25 years. A Brief Guide For Beginners

Writen by Colm O'Dwyer

1. Choose what you want to do; stick with a hobby or interest. This means you'll already have good product knowledge and more importantly be passionate about what your doing.

2. Asses the competition; see what they do good and look even more closely at what they do bad. Work out your USP (unique selling point) or competitive edge. This can be something obvious like cheaper prices, better customer service, newer products etc.

3. Brand yourself; your company brand is extremely important and the first part of marketing. Get an appropriate name and get a rough idea of who your appealing to. Do you need a sharp executive logo or a family friendly feel to sell your product?

4. Get a great website; the website should be themed around your brand image. For the layout itself, copy a successful competitor. If you need a web designer then get someone local, you'll need to meet them face to face and make sure you know exactly who your dealing with.

5. Market, shamelessly; Tell everyone you know about your site, add it to every directory and search engine you can find, there are plenty of really good free ones. Get onto related forums and chat rooms, word of mouth is a very effective marketing tool however be sure to abide by forum rules.

6. PR marketing; furthermore you can submit an article about your new business to newspapers, if your savvy enough to be able to get a story printed then you'll have thousands of resultant visitors.

7. Closing sales; Now you need all these people to buy from your site. Don't be arrogant, but tell people about how great your product is, use testimonials, create a need as opposed to a want. Having sales and limited editions creates a sense of URGENCY, people don't like to miss out!

8. Newsletter sales; Offer a free e-mail newsletter on your site where people can put in their e-mail and receive great hints and tips on your area of expertise. Within these e-mails you can suggest some new products and offers etc. Don't be aggressive in your technique though as it will scare off potential and repeat customers.

9. Finally; success comes to those who work hard, which generally most people don't like to do. That means there's less competition ;)

10. Just seemed odd to finish at 9.

TIPS

* Don't be intimidated by big competition, they were at your stage once.

* If your getting plenty of people to your site then make money from advertising.

WARNINGS

* Stay away from affiliate programs, they are cleverly disguised pyramid schemes.

* To get more people to your site link exchange, don't do it with the competition though!

The Expert Advantage Why It Pays To Establish Yourself As An Expert

Writen by Kelly O'Neil

Have you ever felt a jolt of envy to see a competitor – or even a friend – grinning up at you from a newspaper or trade publication?

It kills you, doesn't it?

And you know why: you need to become that authority. Prospects will gravitate to the authority on a subject they are interested in.

If you can establish yourself as an expert in your industry, qualified prospects will be attracted to you. Why?

Everybody wants to do business with an expert.

As an entrepreneur, a majority of your focus is always on securing new customers. While it is true that your repeat clients are the backbone of your success, you need to add new clients to your existing client base if you want your business to grow.

You must learn to sell yourself as an expert. When potential buyers see you as a knowledgeable professional whose opinions and guidance truly matter, they are more likely to hand over their hard-earned money.

There are several ways to position yourself as an expert in the eyes of the public. The first thing you have to do is:

Be Confident in Your Expertise

Stop taking your skills for granted. You know a lot more than you think you know.

It's self-confidence that plays a large part in determining your happiness through life.

And self-confidence is a necessary ingredient for success because it sells. It's something you can sense about a person upon entering a room. It's evident through body language and speech. If your confidence is lacking, try these tips:

Set goals and create a plan to achieve them Use powerful affirmations such as "I am the expert;' "My information is valuable;' and "People desire to work with me.' Practice confidence by emulating others. Take a look at the people who you think are the most confident. Try to find things they do in their body language and tone of voice to mimic until you find your own style. Be prepared. Create a Powerful Brand

In an overcrowded marketplace, if you're not standing out, then you're invisible.

The best way to captivate your audience is with an authentic and powerful personal brand. The benefits of a strong personal branding will give you an edge over your competition and enhance your value in the global marketplace.

Branding identifies and differentiates you, your business and your products and services so you stand out from the crowd and get noticed.

Once you have a powerful personal brand, the next step is to consistently communicate it through your brand identity: logo, business cards, letterhead, web site, invoices and any other outward communications you have.

Put it in Writing

We have all heard the saying, "If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around, does it make a sound?' If you are sharing your expertise and no one hears it or reads it, does it make a difference?

There are several ways to build your reputation just by writing about what you know best.

Articles

Whether you're telling readers how to grow gargantuan tomatoes or how to stay out of trouble with the IRS, "how to' articles are an excellent way to call attention to your talents and establish yourself as an expert. They give you dozens of column inches that you might not be able to afford if you had to pay for an ad. They draw traffic to your web site. And if your articles are compelling and convincing, they can lead to thousands of dollars in sales for your products or services.

People love solutions so try to start with quick tips sheets. For example, I wrote an article titled "5 Tips to Quickly and Easily Improve Your Brand Identity'. Then as you become more comfortable with writing, try a positioning piece where you comment on an industry trend with your thoughts. Provide your expert opinion.

EZines

Electronic newsletters are one of the most profitable ways to build your credibility to establish yourself as an expert. More commonly known as eZines, they let you offer helpful advice, market to a global audience, communicate easily with thousands of people as often as you wish, and promote what you're selling. All that without expensive postage or printing costs, an advertising budget, keeping track of subscription renewals, or other tasks associated with print newsletters.

Your eZine, distributed 1-4 times per month, will become a portfolio of your work and showcase your expertise.

I highly recommend using an email contact program like www.emailbrain.com . They are inexpensive, look professional, and can help you track what works in your campaigns and what doesn't.

Books

Catapult your business to a higher level by writing a book. Speakers, consultants, coaches, therapists and other small business owners are learning that publishing a book is one of the most powerful marketing strategies available. A book has the greatest potential to open doors.

There are two routes to go with book writing. The first is the traditional publishing route. This is a long and arduous process, however, being published by a well-known publishing house is like the "Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval.'

The other avenue is to self publish with a company like iUniverse. If you don't feel like you have the time and energy to take on a whole book yourself, you can also create an anthology of works from a combination of authors.

This year I launched my own publishing company Inspiration Place Publishing รค which published my latest book, an anthology, " Visionary Women Inspiring the World: 12 Paths to Personal Power.'

Get on Your Soapbox

You may never see your name in lights or dazzle the crowd at Carnegie Hall. Yet there's no doubt that you can achieve celebrity status among the people who matter most to your target market when you start presenting.

This kind of "stardom" means prospects recognize your name as soon as they hear or read it, you are looked upon as an expert in a particular area, and your business is 100% referral-based. The benefits of this kind of business are obvious: extraordinary credibility that leads to countless introductions and natural, easy prospecting conversations plus the bonus of knowing you are truly outstanding in your field.

And doing presentations is lucrative. According to the Internal Revenue Service, "Those who speak about their industry earn an average of 50% more than those who don't.'

Public speaking

Public speaking enhances your credibility and your reputation as an expert while providing important information to your target audience. It is important that your speech does not turn into "sales pitches." Keep references to your company's products and services low-key while personally projecting your desired image. The key to successful speaking is making sure that you are in front of the right audience and then provide value to them.

When you are giving a speech make sure you do the following:

Inform your audience on your subject. Establish yourself as an expert and a resource for further information. Encourage your audience to take action. Create a compelling leave behind with information about your product or service offerings. Perhaps include an article you have written. Collect their information through business cards or a raffle for a free hour of consulting or a product. Ideas for getting the word out that you are available as a speaker:

Create a speaking resume that includes your bio and three compelling talks that you can give. You can see a copy of my speaking resume at www.journeyavenue.com. Send your speaking resume to professional trade organizations, civic groups or non-profit organizations. Send announcement letters or network to let groups know that you are available and which topics you can address. Hold Your Own Seminar or Tele-Seminar

Another venue to speak publicly is by holding your own seminar or tele-seminar. Create a program based upon your expertise and promote it heavily.

While giving the seminar, make sure that you use a system like Dan Janal's Great Teleseminars ( http://www.greatteleseminars.com/ ) to record the program so you can turn it into an audio product for passive revenue.

Become a Media Magnet

I worked in publicity for more than ten years and first hand saw the power of the media. Publicity is mention in the media. Organizations usually have little control over the message in the media, at least, not as they do in advertising. Regarding publicity, reporters and writers decide what will be said. This can be a little scary, however, this is exactly what leads to your credibility. And, PR is free, unlike advertising.

When you are quoted in the media it is another expert seal of approval. Each time you have a story to share or an announcement to make, consider which of the following media relations vehicles would be most helpful:

News Release Pitches Bylined Articles Special Events Contests, Quizzes Seminars/conferences Fundraisers Ribbon-cuttings/groundbreakings, open houses, etc. New product launches A news release is your most important publicity tool for securing story placements. It serves to assist an editor or reporter in writing a story and should tell your story in a simple, factual, straight-forward and informative manner (infusing your personality, as long as it doesn't take away from communicating your key points and product features).

It's important to pay attention to details when preparing a news release. In my e-book Profitable Public Relations I detail how to write an effective news release and pitch it to the journalist.

Another excellent way of attracting the attention of reporters and editors is to write a pitch letter. A pitch letter is a brief letter outlining a particular story angle, or sometimes several related story angles, for a reporter.

This kind of letter can be sent as a cover letter with a news release or media kit, but often it is sent alone. The idea is to grab the reporter's attention by providing a story idea and the important facts surrounding the story (often bullet points are used to present information so that the letter is easy to read). After mailing a pitch letter, it is important to follow up with the reporter to determine his/her interest and provide further information.

Working with the media on a regular basis is key to keeping your name in front of your customers' and prospects' eyes and being at the top of their mind when it comes to awareness.

Create Promotional Campaigns and Info Products Awards

Awards provide an opportunity to strengthen your reputation and credibility. If you do not feel comfortable nominating yourself, ask fellow entrepreneurs, your advisors, your friends or your family to nominate you.

Special Events

Special events such as charitable fund-raisers and public celebrations of your company milestones allow you to communicate your message in an active, participatory manner.

InfoProducts

What is your secret to success? How have you become a subject matter expert? Success sells, and if you have your own personal method to getting there, others will pay to hear it. InfoProducts include e-Books, Audio and Video Projects, Special reports and books. Did you know that e-books on how to succeed are topping the sales charts? Put together an InfoProduct and start collecting revenue while you sleep. I have several examples of InfoProducts on my site. Check it out.

Are you ready?

Whistle Blower Jeffery Wigand Quotthe Insiderquot

Writen by John Parsons

In the late 1980s Jeffery Wigand joined the tobacco industry with aspirations of creating a safer cigarette for smokers around the world. While working on this project he became Vice President for Research and Development for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation from December 1988 to March 1993.

Eventually Wigands' Project was scrapped. After five years of Vice President for research and development, Wiggins had become acutely aware of the inner workings of the tobacco industry.

Feeling he was becoming part of the problem, Wigand sent a memo to his boss outlining his concerns that he had never seen such corporate duplicity . As a result, Wigind was fired for difficulties in communication in March 1993.

For a while Wigand did not come forward with his knowledge about the tobacco companies. Then he saw tobacco executives including Tommy Sandefur, his ex-boss, testifing to Congress that nicotine was not addictive. Wigand was convinced he had to do something and began talking it to the FDA.

He made the truth known to the public about the industry's disregard for health and safety during an interview with 60 minutes which he was compelled to give in an action against the tobacco companies.

Wigand outlined how the company misled consumers about the highly addictive nature of nicotine, how it ignored research indicating that some of the additives used to improve flavor caused cancer, and how it encoded and hid documents that could be used against the company in lawsuits brought by sick or dying smokers.

Wigand endured death threats against him and his family and a campaign by the tobacco companies to ruin him. His wife divorced him, and his two daughters left him to live with their mother. Wigind was distraught but felt a greater urge to press on.

Wignad went on to help the FDA gather thousands of pages of explicit evidence that cigarettes were nothing more then drug delivery devices and eventually delivered a damning deposition in court that eventually led to the tobacco industry's $246 billion litigation settlement.

3 Steps To Equipment Financing Success

Writen by Jupita Fanklin

Mortgage Brokers interested in adding equipment financing to their revenues can do so by following 3 easy steps.

Starting a commercial equipment financing business can be a doubly successful endeavour for mortgage brokers because it can generate a new income stream as well as open up more doors for building their existing mortgage business. Also, financing equipment can be a good stepping stone for a mortgage broker into the more complicated world of project & commercial property finance. With good commissions available, this area should be of interest to the expanding mortgage broker's business.

While the thought of commencing a new business venture can be a daunting one success will come from having sound procedures and practices. A small amount of work initially will quickly help you to determine if there is a business opportunity, and if there is - how to go about taking advantage of it.

1. Establish your footings.

Initially using a broad brush you need to determine if there is an immediate opportunity for you in financing equipment. Call some people in your client or personal network and ask them if their employer or business uses finance for their equipment. Get some names and contact the people responsible for the financing and ask them what they finance, and when they finance. Also what product they use and why. You might also ask who they use and how they decide who to use.

By doing this you are educating yourself on some of the terms and jargon that is used plus your are testing your comfort level in discussing this sort of financing with exactly the people you will be talking to when you kick your business off.

2. Place your foundations.

If you get some positive feedback you are well on the way to making your decision to venture into this new area of financing. Now you need to line up your finance sources. Most banks and financiers will have a minimum value business introduction hurdle for accreditation. You may need a number of sources so call around and find out the criteria. Also ask about relationship issues. You may want to manage the client relationship yourself or alternatively simply refer clients to the financier who will manage the relationship. Find out about fees & commissions at the front, during and at the end of a transaction. Investigate marketing and other support the financier can provide you in your local area. Also what products are on offer and how do they differ. Importantly, ask them who their target clients are and their credit criteria, it will be best if you are working in the same or similar direction.

3. Build your business framework.

A good database tool is essential. You may be able to use your existing database to manage your new business transactions and pipeline or adapt it to the new process and information you will need to store. Remember, you are now dealing with companies and businesses in addition to the individuals that operate them. How much income do you want to generate, how much time are you going to allocate & when will you allocate the time. What marketing will you use and when. With the end of the financial year approaching what angle would work now.

If your thoughts are positive and your comfort levels OK you are ready to now grow your service offering and to add a new stream of income to your business.

Invoice Factoring

Writen by Max Bellamy

Factoring is selling invoices to receive your money at the moment, instead of waiting for say, two to three months. That's why it is one of the most important finance management tools - especially for a small company that does not create debt. Factoring does not require you to give up any ownership in your company.

For carrying out any operation, finance is required. So, necessary finance is to be raised, allocated and controlled for the effective execution of any function. Success or failure of the firm as such depends on how effectively the finance part is undertaken.

The finance function is comprised of the determining and raising of necessary funds from appropriate sources and their proper allocation and control. The aim is to attain the enterprise objective of wealth maximization. The wealth or the value of the firm is at the maximum when the return or profit is also at the maximum. But with the increase in return the risk also increases. For example, holding less inventory may increase profit because a lesser amount is locked up in inventory, but this may increase the risk as the chance of running out of inventory is higher.

According to experts, factoring process has some distinct advantages. For example, unlike a loan, collateral is not required in the factoring process, there is no interest, and no debt shows up on your balance sheet. What's more, fees are paid in the form of a percentage discount, deducted after all of the invoices have been paid to the Factor. The discount amount depends on the length of time it takes to collect on the invoices.

Always keep capital budgeting and working capital on mind while understanding the finance management. Capital budgeting is the evaluation and ranking of investment projects with the aim of finding out the most suitable project from among alternative courses. On the other hand, working capital is the amount of capital required for the day-to-day running of the enterprise.

Factoring provides detailed information about factoring, credit card factoring, loan factoring, invoice factoring and more. Factoring is the sister site of Buying Investment Properties.

Cynics Never Win

Writen by Edmund Loh

Cynics are very skeptical people and they are a particular group of people I will always want to avoid meeting where Internet Business is concerned. I am also sure that you have had come across some of them, if not many by now.

The successful people I have heard of and even some whom I have had the privilege to meet online or in person always want to understand in what they believe. On the other hand, the cynics of life are people who want to believe in what they understand.

Do you see the differences here?

It simply means that cynics want to believe in the little knowledge they know on a subject. Today, I still have cynics (embarrassingly enough, most of them were my friends) asking me the following questions out of skepticism about my Internet Business:

[1] Is it legal?
[2] Will you go bankrupt?
[3] Will you not go to jail?

They asked these questions not out of concern or curiosity but rather out of skepticism and it breaks my heart sometimes because these are the questions coming out from the mouth of those whom I considered my friends (which I changed my set of friends eventually).

I can see myself wealthy and successful 5 years from now.

These very same cynics are going to wonder why I am ahead of them financially and they are stuck at a dead-end job where they think they should not be in, at least with their degrees and credentials.

And ironically enough, these are the very same people who tell others to be "open-minded".

Little do these people know that when they avoid the little risk or uncertainty they see, they also avoid the possibilities of reaping the rewards altogether. It is okay to be detailed, do your homework and sometimes feel doubtful, but you must encompass a larger view of the whole subject you are studying, Internet Business or not.

If you are just starting your Internet Business from home and have yet to succeed (which you will in time, fueled with a strong will and determination) and are surrounded by cynical friends, it may very well be a sign telling you to change your friends.

As a business owner, you need to associate with strong and healthy friends. Make strong relationship with friends who will encourage you and pull you out of the rubble, not friends who will make you a fool and push you into the rubble.

The good places to start with are forums and discussion boards dedicated to Internet Business and Marketing.

Nothing is more powerful and motivating than being in the company of like-minded people sharing the same vision towards a positive goal.

Used Office Equipment

Writen by Jennifer Bailey

Setting up an office requires a lot of commitment, energy and most of all, considerable cash. Even though you may wish to buy the best office equipment available, it may not be always possible. You may have to settle for used office equipment to fulfill your immediate requirements. Also, the amount of money that you save in buying used office equipment will be quite considerable. This money can be used to fulfill the more urgent requirements of your business and its needs.

Used office equipment can be well purchased at second hand shops. These shops are able to procure these goods at very reasonable prices from the actual sellers. They then sell the products to buyers for a profit. Hence, if you buy the equipment directly from the seller, you may be able to save the money that the second hand shop is earning as profit. The only drawback buying from a direct buyer is that you will not have the option of replacing or returning the equipment in case of a defect or a breakdown, which may be a possibility. You may also be able to pick up used office equipment through actual and online auctions. Though bidding at auctions is not a foolproof method, it is worth a try. In case you are one who takes a cautious approach, buying from second hand shops remains the best option.

There are several advantages and pitfalls of buying used office equipment. The advantages are that one saves money and second hand products are readily available from a number of sources. Also, when a used product needs repairs, it hurts much less than the collapse of new equipment. The disadvantages of buying a used product are also worth considering. You may not be able to judge the efficiency of the product at the time of purchase. You may also end up spending more money later if it does break down. Hence any decision regarding the purchase of office equipment must be made after weighing the advantages and disadvantages of buying used office equipment.

Ultrasonic Cleaners

Writen by Kent Pinkerton

Industrial devices such as ultrasound cleaners use high frequency sound waves to create bubbles within a bath, which expand and collapse rapidly. In industrial terms, this is generally known as cavitation technique that creates a scrubbing action on the immersed parts for loosening and removal of dirt, scale, and other impurities.

These devices are used to clean the surfaces of components coming out of a production line that may contain impurities such as grease, soil, oil, abrasive dust, blast debris, paint, corrosion or other contaminants. Most commonly used ultrasonic cleaning devices include degreasing cleaners, sterilizer washers and ultrasonic parts washers.

These devices can be purchased as complete cleaning systems and also part-by-part to either assemble a system from scratch or to replace damaged components of existing machines. A complete ultrasonic machine system consists of different components such as a retrieval system, nozzle, cabinet, pressure generator pump, transducer, agitator, and cleaning tank. The ultrasonic cleaning process can be achieved using different mediums such as "hot water cleaning" in which the cleaner manipulates a heated water supply or steam to enhance cleaning and surface preparation operations. Another medium known as "aqueous" cleaning uses water based cleaning solution and is similar to hot water cleaning. In some mediums the solvent is evaporated and then condensed on the parts surface to enable cleaning operations.

Apart from basic cleaning operations, ultrasonic cleaners are also used for degreasing, surface preparation, and sterilization. They can easily remove oils, grease, and other similar substances from the surface of metal parts or components and prepare the surface for additional processing. The disinfectant qualities of ultrasonic cleaners have made them useful in pharmaceutical, medical, and food processing industries.

Advanced digital ultrasonic cleaners available in the market have microprocessor controlled thermostat and digital readout that offer maximum control of the cycle time and temperature all in one setting. They also have other features such as mechanical timer-MT, digital timer, heat timer, and temperature monitor.

Ultrasonic provides detailed information on Ultrasonic, Ultrasonic Transducers, Ultrasonic Cleaners, Ultrasonic Nebulizers and more. Ultrasonic is affiliated with Electronic Test Equipment.

Why Its Crucial To Have A Dedicated Server

Writen by Stu Pearson

A dedicated server is a single web server or computer on the internet that hosts websites and shows pages as viewers request. A dedicated server is within a network of computers, exclusively dedicated to one costumer or a large business, since it can meet many needs.

Dedicated servers are most commonly used in the web hosting industry; hundreds of sites are hosted under one dedicated server. A dedicated server is considered to be the next step on from shared hosting environments. Having your own dedicated server makes you free of worry about other websites slowing you down or crashing your server. Dedicated servers also give you total control, and allows for installing software on your website that opens doors for gaining extra performance.

The advantage of having a dedicated server is that the clients of the server can customize both hardware and software setup so they meet needs like faster data access and effortless accommodation of traffic on the site.

These dedicated servers come with good costumer service. The web host works with the client in making sure that the dedicated server meets the needs of the client. In cases of companies having several divisions like a chain of outlets, it is still crucial for each to have their own dedicated server because they can create many domains on a single server easily, which results in more efficiency rather than having to lease host space on different web servers for each division or outlet individually.

For large companies having websites for every dealership such as motorcycle manufacturers, the advantage of having a dedicated server is that the parent company can put all of the websites for each dealership under the same server.

Here's how it works. Assume a company named "Taurus Cars Corp." is running a series of dealerships, the parent company could host an individual website for every dealership. Each website may look like this; for the parent company "www.taurusmotorscorp.com", for the dealership in Florida "www.taurusmotorsflorida.com ", for the dealership in Colorado "www.taurusmotorscolorado.com" and so on.

The advantage of this setup is the dealership in Florida is using the same online tools as the dealership in Colorado.

Making the online presence of the company Taurus Motors Corp. very streamlined and cost-efficient, while making things significantly easier for the company's administration and support, also known as customization and uniform of point of sale software. Considering the websites of each of the different divisions or dealerships residing on one dedicated server, makes this advantage beneficial in terms of increasing sales.

In some cases other business want to use dedicated servers for the sole purpose of customization, costumer service, and fast access. They host websites themselves or better yet sub-lease the extra space for interested companies to set up their websites and domains. The advantage derived by any business under a dedicated server is the ability to enhance security.

All these advantages imply that dedicated servers are the best option for most large companies or businesses. Hosting personal websites or small business websites in general doesn't require a dedicated server, instead for this purpose you can lease from a standard web host.
